Hi, I’m Jevin O. Sewaruth, a 23 year old web developer from Mauritius. And this is Technoreply, my blog.

This blog revolves around computers. These machines have fascinated me since I was small child. At 11 years old, I used to spend entire evenings writing programs on QBasic.

Nowadays, I work in a web start-up. I joined the company right after my degree at the University of Mauritius and I must say, being in a start-up of around 15 persons really helped me understand how companies operate. Plus, it brings the departments closer, so I learn new stuff everyday. Even stuff not directly related to my work.

About the blog

I created Technoreply as a simple techie blog, in June 2009. Why techie? Because after working as a web developer for only one year, I realised that all those little discoveries that I made during my normal day of work were going to a waste. So, I decided to set up a blog and share (as well as archive) all those little tips and tricks that I discover everyday.

Technoreply started off as a free Wordpress blog. It didn’t take long before the posts started receving decent amount of traffic. This lead to the decision of moving the blog on its own server.
